The funny thing is I was such a goody-two shoes in regular school but force me to go to CCD once a week and I started shouting about the concept of Judas having free will because the teacher had already made a big deal about predeterminism re: Jesus always knew he was going to die. How, pray tell, posited 11 year old Halle, can Judas have free will when he was doomed to be the villain by the narrative from the jump?
